The Schwarz Foundation supported the Greek Turkish Youth Orchestra with concerts in Athens and on Samos.

The Greek Turkish Youth Orchestra is actually an educational program. The idea of forming this ensemble originated from the conviction of music lover Leni Konialidis, that playing music in a group generates harmony and friendship in human relations.

Founded by Leni Konialidis in 2008, the Youth Orchestras members meet every summer and rehearse just for a couple of weeks. In Istanbul or Samos, in Athens or Izmir, whichever place will sponsor them and give them enough time to see one another, play side by side, and ultimately perform as a unity in perfect harmony. Each year their performances are praised by an audience that acknowledges what it must take for these individuals, 16 to 25 years old, to perform Mozart, Bach and Haydn like professionals. Yet, they are not professionals, they are students. Teenagers and young adults strive to show the world that music is not a hobby but an Art that builds character and ethos.
