Provision of the website and creation of log files

Description and scope of data processing

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer. The following data is collected:

    - Information about the browser type and version used,
    - the user's operating system,
    - the user's Internet service provider,
    - IP address of the user,
    - date and time of access,
    - websites from which the user's system accesses our website, and
    - websites that are accessed by the user's system via our website.

This data is also stored in the log files of our system. This does not include the user's IP address or other data that enables the data to be assigned to a user. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user.

    Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.

    Purpose of data processing

The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session.

The storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, we use the data to optimise the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of the data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context.

These purposes are also our legitimate interest in data processing according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.

    Storage duration

The data is automatically deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.

    Possibility of objection and elimination

The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of the data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. Consequently, there is no possibility for the user to object.

    Use of cookies

Description and scope of data processing

Our website does not use direct cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored in the internet browser or by the internet browser on the user's computer system. When a user accesses a website, a cookie may be stored on the user's operating system. This cookie contains a characteristic string of characters that enables the browser to be uniquely identified when the website is called up again. Under certain conditions, cookies are set by third-party providers in order to enable third-party functions and techniques (for more details, see the explanations on section III. below).

    Use of Google Analytics

Description and scope of data processing

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (Google). Google uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. In the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google will not be merged with other Google data.

This website uses Google with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". This means that IP addresses are processed in a shortened form, thus making it impossible to relate them to a specific person. If the data collected about you is related to a person, this is immediately excluded and the personal data is deleted immediately.

This website also uses Google Analytics for a cross-device analysis of visitor flows (Universal Analytics), which is carried out via a user ID.

    Legal basis for data progressing

The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 (1) lit. a DS-GVO if the user has given his or her consent.

When you visit our website for the first time or if it is necessary to do so again, we will ask you whether you agree to the storage of cookies on your PC and the use of Google Analytics for the collection, sharing and use of personal data for the personalisation of advertising or other services. For this purpose, we display a corresponding banner in which we point this out. If you click on "Agree", you agree to this. If you do not click on "Agree", no cookies will be set and no pseudonymous user profiles will be created.

Purpose of data processing through Google Analytics

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

We use Google to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

    Possibility of objection and removal

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set, which will prevent the collection of your data during future visits to this website: [Link]

Regarding Universal Analytics, you can deactivate the cross-device analysis of your usage in your customer account under "My data", "Personal data".

    Use of Youtube

We use the YouTube.com platform to post our own videos and make them publicly accessible. YouTube is the service of a third party not affiliated with us, namely YouTube LLC.

Some of the Internet pages of our website contain links or connections to the YouTube website. In general, we are not responsible for the content of linked websites. However, if you follow a link to YouTube, we would like to point out that YouTube stores the data of its users (e.g. personal information, IP address) in accordance with its own data usage guidelines and uses it for business purposes.

We also directly embed videos stored on YouTube on some of our Internet pages. With this integration, content from the YouTube website is displayed in parts of a browser window. However, the YouTube videos are only called up by clicking on them separately. This technique is also called "framing". When you call up a (sub-)page of our website on which YouTube videos are embedded in this form, a connection is established to the YouTube servers and the content is displayed on the website by informing your browser.

YouTube content is only integrated in "extended data protection mode". YouTube itself provides this mode and thus ensures that YouTube does not initially save any cookies on your device. However, when the relevant pages are called up, the IP address and the other data mentioned in section 4 are transmitted and thus, in particular, information is provided as to which of our Internet pages you have visited. However, this information cannot be attributed to you unless you have logged in to YouTube or another Google service (e.g. Google+) before accessing the page or are permanently logged in.

As soon as you start the playback of an embedded video by clicking on it, YouTube only saves cookies on your device through the extended data protection mode, which do not contain any personally identifiable data, unless you are currently logged in to a Google service. These cookies can be prevented by appropriate browser settings and extensions.
