Programme 2019

Dear friends,

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to Samos Young Artists Festival 2019, taking place from the 7th to the 13th of August at the Pythagorion ancient theatre, where the inherent properties of physics and mathematics within music were perceived by Pythagoras some 2,500 years ago. This year marks SYAF's tenth anniversary, and we will once again have the opportunity to share the experience of great evening concerts performed in a magnificent Mediterranean setting.

This year, we celebrate our 10 years of musical existence and pay tribute to the people who worked hard for this; at the same time, we are taking off on a new musical journey, anticipating and embracing the changes happening in our world, their impact on our mission, as well as identifying new opportunities to achieve our goals. This year's festival brings together young and established artists from Greece, Turkey, Romania, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, the United States, and Argentina, performing music that ranges from the Baroque to contemporary and tango.

Please join us on this unique journey of unforgettable musical events on Samos – an ideal place to relax, enjoy the natural wonders, and experience the magic of music. See you at Pythagorion!
