Faidon Miliadis started his violin studies at the New Conservatory of Thessaloniki,with Kostas Vozikis and Irina Dragneva. In 2005, he moved to London, where in 2009 he obtained a Bachelor’s degree at the Royal College of Music, with Adrian Levine. Next stop was the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, where he acquired a Master of Arts in Kati Sebestyén’s class. He attended chamber-music as well as solo masterclasses by Zakhar Bron, Rudolf Koelman, Georgios Demertzis, and Levon Chilingirian, and has performed concerts and recitals in venues and festivals all over Europe (Bozar, Southbank Center, Gent Opera Studio). Meanwhile, he was a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra. Since 2014, Faidon lives in Athens, where he regularly collaborates with artists and ensembles in a wide range of projects, from early music concerts to contemporary staged performances. He has been co-principal violin at the Greek National Opera and, since 2017, member of Athens State Orchestra. He is a founding member of Trio El Greco.
