The Troubadours in the 4th Crusade, 1204
A week of rehearsals and seminars dedicated to the music of the troubadours of the 4th Crusade and their activity in Byzantium in the 13th century. The week will focus on the study of the relevant repertoire, the exploration of the relations between poetry and music in the work of the troubadours, and their historical and cultural background. It will lead to concerts in Samos and Athens.

Open to singers and instrumentalist interested in medieval music.
Participation fee: 250 € (including tuition fees, accommodation for seven nights in the Schwarz Foundation music studios in Chora – Samos as well as breakfast and one meal per day – not including travel to and from Samos)
