Born in Jerusalem, Talia Or grew up in Germany and finished her studies at University of Music and Theatre Hamburg with honor.
She immediately became a member of the Young Ensemble of the Bavarian Opera Munich, after which she was engaged at the State Theatre at Gärtnerplatz Munich. For the next few years she was a guest artist at the Bavarian State Opera.
Talia Or already worked with conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Gianandrea Noseda, Kirill Petrenko, Betrand de Billy, Lorin Maazel, Fabio Luisi or Ingo Metzmacher and Marc Albrecht.
She was a guest at important opera houses: La Scala Milan, Bavarian State Opera Munich, Teatro Regio Turin (FIDELIO) Teatro dell Maggio Musicale Florence, Palau de les Arts Valencia (Parsifal),State Opera Hamburg (Cosi fan tutte),Theatre La Monnaie Brussels.
In the past few seasons Talia gave her debut as Tatjana/EUGEN ONEGIN at Teatro di Sao Paulo in Brazil, as well as Gretel /Haensel und Gretel at La Monnaie, Brussels.
Furthermore she shone as Eva/IL PRIMO OMICIDIO Scarlatti with The Potsdamer Kammerakademie and debuted the rare Janacek opera "The excursions of Mr.Broucek" as Malinka/Etherea/Kunka
Highlights of her concert appearance include Mahler's 2. Symphony under the baton of Zubin Mehta with Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Bach's CHRISTMAS ORATORIO under Peter Schreier and Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra, as well as under Ivor Bolton with the Bavarian State Orchestra.
Her concert and Lied repertoire includes Barock music as well as Haydn, Mozart, Offenbach, Schönberg, Richard Strauss and contemporary composers as Fabio Vacchi. Concerts have brought her to stages as OSESP São Paolo, Tel Aviv Philharmonic, Festspielhaus Salzburg, Hamburg Music Hall and Gasteig Munich.
